Traditional chargers are also not always capable of charging some batteries, particularly those in poor condition. The Ring SmartCharge 8 will charge all types of sealed lead-acid batteries plus Gel, AGM, calcium etc to their optimum condition. The Ring SmartCharge 8 includes a battery recondition function that can recondition or revive a battery from a damaged condition- a feature not available on traditional battery chargers. The SmartCharge 8 allows you to check the charge status of your battery if there is no AC mains supply available. Simply connect the fully insulated power connectors to the battery and press the Display Function button to see the battery status. Maintenance charge allows you to safely leave your battery permanently on charge and ready for use when you need it. The Ring SmartCharge 8 displays via the digital LED multi-function display if a battery is permanently damaged or irreparable. The Ring SmartCharge 8 automatically charges at a preset value to ensure optimum performance of your battery every time. The Fast Charge feature allows you to rapid charge your battery. Ensure the fast charge rate set corresponds with your battery size (see rear of SmartCharge for guidance). The Ring SmartCharge 8 includes a number of safety features designed to protect the user, the battery and the Ring SmartCharge 8. These are displayed by the digital LED multi-function display.
